Huge Week for Marriage Equality in New Jersey |

This Wednesday, the New Jersey Supreme Court heard arguments in New Jersey's marriage equality case. NJforDemocracy joined Garden State Equality and other progressives in New Jersey at a series of events in support:
1- NIGHT-BEFORE-SUPREME-COURT RALLY, Tuesday, February 14th at Bnai Keshet Synagogue, Montclair.
 Over 500 supporters of marriage equality showed up for a rally sponsored by Garden State Equality, and featuring heads of national LGBTI organizations together in New Jersey for the first time, including (l. to r. with NJ4D's Jeff Gardner) Freedom to Marry's Evan Wolfson, National Lesbian and Gay Task Force's Matt Foreman, and Human Rights Campaign's Joe Solomonese.
2- DEMONSTRATION AT THE NEW JERSEY SUPREME COURT, Wednesday, February 15th in front of the Hughes Justice Complex, Trenton.
Over 100 supporters rallied outside the Supreme Court on the morning of the oral arguments. The mood was cautious optimism mixed with excitement. And, needless to say, the media coverage was extensive! Now, it's all over but the waiting.
